One of the newest artists on the West Wales scene, Jill Jones specialises in Pembrokeshire paintings.<\/a> Indeed, she takes inspiration from the skyscapes, seascapes and landscapes that surround her. In addition, she distils the ever-changing colours and purity of light. This ability helps give her work a subtle depth and artistic integrity. <\/p>

Jill first trained in fine art, then design. Then, after leaving University, she honed her trade in commercial art. However, recently she has returned to her first love; Fine Art. Indeed, her focus is Pembrokeshire paintings.<\/p>

Pembrokeshire paintings at West Coast Studio<\/h2>

Jill is based in West Coast Studio in Talbenny, Pembrokeshire. In fact, this is a custom-made facility located close to the glorious Pembrokeshire coast. In addition, it is also a mile or so from the picturesque coastal village of Little Haven and the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path.<\/a><\/p>

Here, she works in oils acrylics to produce her dynamic depictions of Pembrokeshire. Her Pembrokeshire paintings capture elements of times past and the excitement of what is to come.<\/p>

An area that Jill particularly focusses upon is painting of traditional cottages. These Pembrokeshire paintings encapsulate the timeless quality and beauty of this unique aspect of the county.<\/p>
