The Havens Art School<\/strong> is based at West Coast Studio, Talbenny, near Little Haven. The artist in residence is Jill Jones one of Wales’ up-coming artists. Tuition is available either on a one-to-one basis or for up to 4 persons at a time. You will find that classes are suitable for complete novices right through to advanced artists. Furthermore, the Studio sits within the glorious Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.<\/a><\/p>

Welcome one and all<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>

Art classes in The Havens Art School<\/strong> go under the name \u2018Art Your Way\u2019 and can be booked via art@jilljones.co.uk . You can book a half day course (2 hours), a full day (10am \u2013 3pm) or two or more days. In addition, groups are also welcomed and, if required, assistance with accommodation may be available. The Havens Art School: course format<\/h2>

Careful thought has gone into the courses at The Havens Art School<\/strong><\/a>. As a result, this ensures that participants have an enjoyable, invigorating and educational time. In the main, courses feature seascapes, landscapes, abstracts and Pembrokeshire places.<\/p>

Following a demonstration of techniques, we\u2019ll start to \u2018build\u2019 your art. We begin with handy tips for painting sky, and sea or simple land techniques. You will find that your use of colour, observation of light, depth and perspective will develop along with your brush technique as you create your art.<\/p>

From initial sketch beginnings, we will work our way towards a finished piece, together. In fact, courses are suitable for all levels of experience<\/p>

About Jill<\/h2>

Jill originally trained in fine art, then design. post-degree level, she spent all her career in commercial art, and now welcomes commissions and her works can be found in galleries both across Wales.<\/p>

In fact, in 2022 Jill will be exhibiting at Life: Full Colour Gallery in Caernarfon, Oriel Llanteglos Gallery nr Amroth and a solo show also at Life: Full Colour Gallery in Caernarfon from 8th July to 6th August. Indeed, you may view some examples of her work on her website.<\/a><\/p>
