Pembrokeshire-based artist, Jill Jones, specialises in paintings of the Welsh coast. <\/a>She captures the wild and untamed beauty of the Welsh coastline, with crashing waves, rocky cliffs and enchanting beaches. Jill’s vibrant use of colour and dynamic composition evoke the power and energy of the sea. Her paintings often feature the rugged coastlines of Pembrokeshire, Anglesey and North Wales. Indeed, Wales’ dramatic cliffs, rocky shores, and turbulent seas characterize her works.<\/p>

The Welsh coast is a breathtaking stretch of shoreline. It encompasses rugged cliffs, golden sandy beaches, picturesque bays, and quaint seaside villages. Extending over 1,680 miles, it offers a diverse and stunning vista that attracts visitors from around the world. Therefore, it is of little surprise that paintings of the Welsh coast are sought by many.<\/p>

One of the most notable features of the Welsh coast is its dramatic cliffs, sculpted by the relentless force of the Atlantic Ocean. These cliffs, such as those found along the Pembrokeshire Coast in southwest Wales, provide spectacular views. They are also are a haven for wildlife with colonies of seabirds nesting in the crags.<\/p>

In contrast to the rugged cliffs, the Welsh coast is also home to numerous sandy beaches that stretch for miles along the shoreline. They offer an inviting refuge for those with less active pursuits in mind!<\/p>

Based as she is in Pembrokeshire, it is not surprising that Jill creates paintings of the Welsh coast. Indeed, the County is renowned for its coastal beauty and cannot fail to inspire creativity.<\/a><\/p>

Jill works in her custom-built facility, West Coast Studio, in Talbenny, near Little Haven in Pembrokeshire. Also, you will find that the studio acts as a gallery for many of her original paintings. Visitors are welcome to call in and browse originals, prints and greetings cards 7 days a week (10am \u2013 3pm).<\/p>
