If you are looking for Art Courses in Pembrokeshire then you have found them! Jill Jones runs her ‘Art Your Way’ classes at The Havens Art School, near the popular resort of Little Haven. Here you will find courses of half-day, full-day or several days duration. Up to four persons may comfortably attend courses in Jill’s custom-built studio and gallery. Refreshments are provided on all courses with lunches on those of full-day or longer. Classes are suitable for beginners right through to advanced artists

Course Format

Art Courses in Pembrokeshire are the result of careful thought and years of experience. As a result, participants will have an enjoyable and educational time in a friendly and fun atmosphere. Painting themes include seascapes, landscapes, abstracts and Pembrokeshire places.

After an introduction to basic techniques, students will start to ‘build’ their own art. Initial tuition includes handy tips for painting sky or seascapes or simple land techniques. Students will develop the use of colour, light, depth and perspective. Students’ brush technique will benefit as their art grows.

With Jill’s assistance students’ work will develop from simple initial sketches to a finished piece of art to be proud of.

Jill originally trained in fine art, then design. post-degree level, she spent all her career in commercial art, and now welcomes commissions and her works can be found in galleries both across Wales.

In fact, in 2022 Jill will be exhibiting at Life: Full Colour Gallery in Caernarfon, Oriel Llanteglos Gallery nr Amroth and a solo show also at Life: Full Colour Gallery in Caernarfon from 8th July to 6th August. Indeed, you may view some examples of her work on her website.
