Jill Jones artist is inspired by the large skies and changing colours of the seasons. She works with light, moonlight and all the shades of sun and seawater. Her works feature dynamic oil paintings and acrylic.
Jill originally trained in fine art, then design. Post-degree level, she spent all her career in commercial art. Furthermore, she now welcomes commissions. She also welcomes invitations to exhibit at galleries both locally and further afield.

Recently Jill returned to her first love, fine art. In fact, the works of Jill Jones artist are now displayed in several galleries. Indeed, in summer 2020, the first to request her work was Oriel Llanteglos Gallery. This gallery is set on the Llanteglos Estate, in a beautiful rural setting, with 12 acres of Woodland. Oriel Llanteglos Gallery has a lovely calm ambience.
Then, a little later, ‘Life: Full Colour’ Gallery invited Jill to display in an Open Show, ‘Passing the Lantern’. This established gallery is located in Caenarfon. Its purpose is to provide a platform to promote, raise the profile of talented artists.
The most recent gallery to invite Jill Jones Artist to display is ‘Pure Art’. You will find the Pure Art Gallery situated in Milford Haven. Indeed it overlooks the busy Marina. Moreover, the gallery showcases work by emerging and established Welsh artists. It particularly features artists based in Pembrokeshire. The County is home to so many talented creatives, such as Jill Jones Artist.
Jill Jones Artist: Art classes and tuition
In addition, Jill Jones Artist also runs art classes and tuition. This takes place in her custom-built studio, ‘West Coast Studio’. It is near Little Haven, Pembrokeshire, close by the Coastal Path. The courses are suitable for beginners and more experienced painters alike. In addition, they have a duration of up to a half day or full day to suit individual needs
